We recently hosted our annual group retreat at village highland resort, concluding with a highly anticipated entertainment event last Friday night, and the experience exceeded every single expectation.

​From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptional—warm, professional, and incredibly efficient. The accommodations were pristine, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a large group, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere that allowed us to relax and connect. The communal areas were well-maintained and provided excellent spaces for our planned activities.

The highlight, without a doubt, was the entertainment hosted on Friday evening. The resort’s event team handled every logistical detail flawlessly, from the sound and lighting setup to the seamless catering service. The dedicated staff were always on hand, ensuring drinks were refreshed and our guests were having a fantastic time. The energy in the venue was electric, making it a truly unforgettable night of fun and celebration for everyone in our group.

Good place with heavenly view. Although, the view was hazy because of gloomy weather, I can’t imagine the view on a clear day. Rooms were very clean with clean linen, attached bath had all the necessary toiletries along with dental kits, AC and TV. Room had slippers something I miss at modern hotels where disposable slippers have become a norm. The area was pretty big with children play area and infinity-swing. The pool was small which is a bummer. The restaurant was good with very good food. I would recommend local-chicken rice which was so tasty. Parking was a little small but would accommodate 4-5 cars and some 2 wheelers. Regarding location, apart from view-facing location, the place is good for a short walk and hike. We went uphill and did some good 4-5 km walk that helped us feel really fresh. The air in this location is so clean unlike Kathmandu with such dense particle pollition.

A beautiful spot to spend over night with friends or in family. Sunrise and sunset view point in 20 minutes distance, is a good Idea to make some hiking. Friendly staffs, beautiful inviroment and mountain views from the Rooms attracted me to come back again in this hotel village highland.

A perfect destination, close to the city. Staff team members are very professional and helpful. The owner is also very friendly and attentive. His personal touch was very appreciated. Minor amenities in the rooms of the new can be added to complete fully functional. Hangers, shower curtain in the bathrooms are urgent.

Village Highland Resort is located top of the Mountain you can have amazing views of old and new city of Bhaktapur. This property seems pretty new neat and clean.

Happiness for everyone children couples and families like small children park around the corner for kids small pool for couples on second deck to enjoying summer season with awesome view families on third deck chatting each other having their delicious food and drinks.
During my stay I spent all my time on third deck. Foods from restaurant yummy yummy was delicious with middle range price brother Ashis and sister Poornima were covering third deck so smoothly superb service with great smiles.
Definitely I will go again and recommend Village Highland Resort is best place for weekends.
